Lipoprotein (a) [Lp(a)] হলো LDL-এর মতো একটি বিশেষ lipid particle, যার সাথে Apolipoprotein(a) যুক্ত থাকে। এই কম্বিনেশন ধমনিতে plaque জমা ও clot হওয়ার ঝুঁকি বাড়ায়। তাই আপনার routine cholesterol normal থাকলেও Lp(a) বেশি হলে heart attack, stroke, early heart disease–এর risk থাকতে পারে।
