Lipoprotein (a) বা Lp(a) হলো রক্তের একটি বিশেষ lipid particle, যা LDL (bad cholesterol)-এর মতো কিন্তু এর সাথে Apolipoprotein(a) যুক্ত থাকে। এই কারণে এটি heart attack, stroke, এবং early heart disease–এর ঝুঁকি বাড়াতে পারে—এমনকি আপনার সাধারণ cholesterol রিপোর্ট নরমাল হলেও।
