Prothrombin Time (PT Test) হলো একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ blood coagulation test যা রক্ত জমাট বাঁধতে (blood clotting) কত সময় লাগে তা নির্ণয় করে। এই পরীক্ষা মূলত clotting factors (Factor I, II, V, VII, X) সঠিকভাবে কাজ করছে কিনা তা জানায়।

What is Prothrombin Time (PT)?

PT & INR – Difference

• PT = Time in seconds

• INR = Standardized value for patients taking anticoagulants

👉 Normal INR:
0.8 – 1.2 (normal people)
Warfarin patient-এর ক্ষেত্রে: 2.0 – 3.0 (target range)
