Synovial fluid হলো একটি স্বচ্ছ, হালকা হলুদ রঙের তরল যা আমাদের joints (গাঁট বা সন্ধি)–এর ভেতরে থাকে।
এই তরলটি মূলত:

• Joint lubrication করে

• Movement smooth করে

• Cartilage কে nourish করে

• Shock absorber হিসেবে কাজ করে

What is Synovial Fluid Chloride Test?

Synovial Fluid Chloride Test হলো একটি laboratory test যেখানে joint থেকে নেওয়া synovial fluid-এ chloride (Cl⁻)–এর মাত্রা পরিমাপ করা হয়।

Chloride একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ electrolyte, যা শরীরের তরল ভারসাম্য (fluid balance) এবং acid-base balance বজায় রাখতে সাহায্য করে।

Doctors সাধারণত এই test recommend করেন যখন:

• Joint swelling বা pain দীর্ঘদিন ধরে থাকে

• Joint infection (septic arthritis) সন্দেহ হয়
