CSF Fluid for India Ink হলো একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ diagnostic test যা Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF)-এ fungal infection, বিশেষ করে Cryptococcus neoformans সনাক্ত করার জন্য করা হয়।

This test is mainly used to diagnose Cryptococcal meningitis, which is a serious fungal infection of the brain.

Therefore, এটি একটি rapid screening test for cryptococcal infection.

Doctor এই test suggest করেন যদি রোগীর মধ্যে থাকে:

• Persistent fever

• Neck stiffness

• Vomiting

• Confusion

• HIV/AIDS patients-দের unexplained neurological symptoms

• Immunocompromised patients

Especially HIV positive patients-দের ক্ষেত্রে এই test খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
